Bruce Mitchell creates a wide range of decorative and functional objects in wood. His lathe-turned and carved vessels are in numerous museum collections around the country. Bruce has recently begun sculpting a series of standing figures and other abstract forms from table top size to environmental scale.

LABOR DAY OPEN STUDIO

Bruce will open his studio to the public over this Labor Day weekend September 4 -6. He will be offering a wide range of objects for sale including sculptures, tables, salad bowls, plates and platters. All of these will be one of a kind pieces made from salvaged trees from around northern California.

Follow the signs from Point Reyes Station on Sir Francis Drake Blvd. to Redwood Ave., turn left on Redwood and head uphill 250 feet to Sherwood Rd. Turn right on Sherwood and go uphill to the studio which will be the first building on the left.
