EDUCATION:
1977 to present: Full time studio sculptor and wood-lathe artist.
1976 Studied pre-Colombian pottery, woodcarving, metal-smithing
and stone carving during a six month trip to Central and South America.

APPRENTICESHIP:
1969-1977 Worked for wood sculptor J.B. Blunk as a technical assistant on both public
and private commissions including two environmental-scaleseating sculptures.
One was commissioned by the Oakland Museum for its opening in 1969 and
the other was for Greens Restaurant in San Francisco in 1977.
